Introduction:

Y&L was approached by a banking client that was struggling to keep track of their policies and procedures. The client’s employees found it challenging to locate relevant information quickly, and the bank wanted to find a way to improve their internal processes. We proposed implementing a ChatGPT type chatbot to help employees access the policies and procedures easily and efficiently.

Objective:

The objective of the project was to develop an intelligent chatbot that could answer employees’ questions regarding the bank’s policies and procedures.

Approach:

Our team initiated the project with a comprehensive analysis of the client’s existing policies and procedures. We identified the most frequently asked employee questions and organized them into relevant categories. All associated policy and procedure documents were collected to build a robust knowledge base for the chatbot.

Leveraging a large language model, along with natural language processing and machine learning algorithms, we trained the chatbot to accurately interpret employee queries and deliver precise, context-aware responses.

To ensure information accuracy, the chatbot was also integrated with the client’s existing systems. Multiple rounds of testing were conducted to validate performance and reliability, and we provided training to employees to ensure confident and effective use of the chatbot.

Results:

The implementation of the chatbot had a significant impact on the client’s internal processes. Employees were able to access the policies and procedures easily and quickly, reducing the time spent searching for information. This resulted in an increase in productivity and efficiency.

The client was impressed with the chatbot’s ability to provide relevant information. The chatbot also helped the client identify gaps in their policies and procedures, allowing them to make necessary improvements.

Conclusion:

Y&L intelligent chatbot services provided an effective solution for our banking client’s needs.
