Shaun has almost twenty-five years’ experience and has worked with many of the world’s largest corporations helping them solve the technical challenges of the modern day organization. This approach has proven, time and again, to drive significant improvements, ROI, and increase alignment between the business and technical teams.

In 2013, Y&L completed the acquisition of the Operari Group from which Shaun was a principal and one of the key reasons why Y&L acquired Operari. Prior to founding Operari, Shaun spent time at Teradata, H-E-B Grocery Company, The IntelliSolve Group, and Citi – just to name a few.

Shaun has the unique ability to work directly with technical and non-technical executives to help them work together to achieve their business objectives and has authored various proprietary tools such as: iLEAN℠ which combines LEAN philosophies with sophisticated enterprise information management to form a realistic picture of the current state and recommend strategies to take an organization to breakthrough performance levels. Combined with LEEP℠, which is a proprietary process for discovering and implementing opportunities for process improvement and change management, these methodologies form a powerful strategic framework for improvement. Most recently, Shaun has established the SPS DGTL division of Y&L Consulting, which provides 24×7 digital customer care using an innovative software application developed by a team of in-house developers.

Being imbued with a sense of civic responsibility that stem from his own humble beginnings, Shaun is keenly aware of the power of technology to create economic opportunities and break cycles of poverty. This core value drives much of his public and private sector efforts. Shaun was a founding member of Tech Bloc, San Antonio’s Tech and Startup Advocacy Group and has recently accepted an Board Advisory role with EveryoneOn, a nonprofit dedicated to creating social and economic opportunity by connecting low-income families to affordable intent service and computers, and delivering digital skills training.
Shaun lives in the Texas Hill Country with his wife of twenty years, their three children, and a houseful of pets that include two Great Pyrenees named Molly and Maggie.
